Having always enjoyed PE at school and trying their gym there I sought out a commercial gym and started lifting at the Tryst in Cumbernauld.
Studied sport physiology and nutritional principles marrying two passions together to learn how to improve exercise performance and health.
Worked in two health food stores for four years part-time during university to help customers make the best choices for their health and nutritional goals.
Articulated to university to deepen my knowledge of biology and how to aid health and disease, going beyond sport to help a greater number of people.
During research projects I learnt I had to improve my chemical analysis skills; enjoyed a sponsored masters course to learn key analytical methods.
I worked in several laboratories applying my skills to gain experience within: contract research, bio-analysis, drug-conjugation and metabolomics.
Learning that routine lab work took me away from a passion for useful ideas I retrained in visual communication with a focus on the science sector.
Married a scientific background with a visual design expertise to help several organisations maximise: branding, communication, website and marketing.
Bringing my love for disease prevention, health and performance to communication and commercial platforms to share my expertise and products.
